When you request a quote, this website saves the name, contact details, location, preferences, and any photo or lighting design you submit so MERRYLINE can review your project.

Seasonal offer signups

If you join the seasonal list, we save your name, email, optional phone number, the page you signed up from, and a record of your consent. We use these details to discuss lighting offers and your project. Providing a phone number does not enroll you in marketing texts. You can ask to stop contact or have your details removed using the quote form with the same email address.

Your browser remembers when you dismiss the signup invitation for 14 days, or complete signup for one year. This preference contains no contact details. You can still open the signup from the footer.

How you found us

Your browser keeps a session-only record of the first page you visited, a broad referral category such as Google or ChatGPT, and whether you edited a lighting design. If you submit a quote or seasonal signup, those categories are saved with your request to help us understand which channels bring inquiries. We do not retain search terms, full referring URLs, or arbitrary campaign text in this record. Referrals may be missing or approximate when a browser does not share them.

Using the lighting designer

Photos are processed in your browser. Moving from the designer to the quote form temporarily stores your draft in the current browser session. Your photo and design are sent to MERRYLINE only when you submit the quote form. Do not include people or private documents in your home photo.

What is saved

Quote details are saved in the website’s database. Submitted images are kept in private file storage and are not displayed in a public gallery. This site does not collect payment details or automatically subscribe you to marketing messages. Joining the seasonal offer list is a separate, optional signup.

Questions about a request

Keep the reference shown after submission. You can use the quote form to ask about a previous request or request that its information be removed. Include your reference and use the same email address so MERRYLINE can identify the request.
